
In one of the other agendas discussed, the meeting resolved to cap the number of whips at 65, he said.
It agreed the whips would comprise three to four Cabinet members, two MPs from each of the six coalition parties, one MP from each of the House committees, and experts nominated by coalition partners.
The House would convene twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays and various committees would meet on the other three days.
The House is expected to appoint about 31 committees and 10 special committees.
