Panasonic set to achieve Bt7.7-billion in sales

Panasonic AP Sales (Thailand) Ltd, a market leader for electrical appliances under the "Panasonic" brand, on Tuesday announced its optimistic target to achieve Bt7.7 billion in 2007 fiscal year sales (between March 2007 and April 2008), which will increase 20 per cent over 2006.

The company also expected a doubledigit growth for fiscal year 2008.

The company also announced its business ambition to beat all close rivals to take the number one position both in airconditioner and refrigeration markets in Thailand for the first time.

Motoyuki Shigemori, deputy managing director, Panasonic AP Sales (Thailand), said that this would be the first time for Panasonic AP Sales, which will achieve the market leader positioning particularly in airconditioner and refrigerator products after the company started to penetrate Thailand's electrical appliance market seriously for five years.
