The new round took place for one MP each in Lampang, Phetchabun, Nakhon Nayok and Sakon Nakhon provinces.

Elections were also held to fill eight seats in Udon Thani, two in Nakhon Ratchasima and three in Phrae.

From January 4 to yesterday, 458 of 460 endorsed MPs have reported to Parliament.

The other two MPs from Sakon Nakhon have called to say they will make their appearance at Parliament today.

The opening ceremony of the parliamentary session is scheduled this afternoon.

Suthiphon said 1,087 organisations had nominated suitable people to be senators from January 3-17.

The EC committee responsible for registration will hand the lists to the selection committee.
