The House is scheduled to elect a speaker and two deputies tomorrow. The coalition government is expected to meet before Friday, when the House will vote for a prime minister, the country's 25th.
Senate's turnCandidates for elected Senate seats will register between today and Friday at the Public Relations Department and provincial city halls.
The election is on March 2 and will return one representative in each of the 76 provinces. Another 74 senators will be appointed before the end of February.
By-electionsThis Sunday will see a by-election in Prachin Buri where Matchima Thipataya candidate Suntorn Wilawan was disqualified.
There is another by-election in Chai Nat where Chart Thai candidates Monthien and Nanthana Songpracha were disqualified.
