Culture Minister Khunying Khaisri Sri-aroon on Friday said the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary would prepare the leaflets.

"One million copies will be printed in Thai and 100,000 in English," she said as chairwoman of the committee preparing chronicles and commemorative books about the Princess for the royal cremation.

However, the cremation date of the Princess, who passed away aged 84 on January 2, has not been announced. The Princess was the sister of His Majesty the King, and a great contributor to society.

Crowds continue to pay their respects to the Princess each day at the Dusit Maha Prasart Throne Hall at the Grand Palace, where the Princess is lying in state. The Royal Household Bureau provides two large tents in the Grand Palace ground where people can rest in shade.

Dr Tulya Tangsiripat, of the royal household medical unit, suggested mourners bring drinking water to the palace.

He said high temperature, strong sun and crowds could affect mourners.

Meanwhile, the deputy governor of Savannakhet in Laos, Supan Kaewmeesai, and officials attended the Thai Consulate and signed a book of condolences there.

Embassies and consulates all over the world have arranged for books to be available.

Meanwhile, the Royal Household Bureau and the National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department selected three aloewood trees from which a royal urn will be made.

Today, royal astrologers, assigned by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, will bless the three trees at Kui Buri National Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The aloewood trees died naturally.
