They were Chart Thai, Matchima Thipataya, Pracharaj, Puea Paendin and Ruam Jai Thai Chart Pattana.

Democrat Party of Abhisit Vejjajiva is then left alone in the opposition bloc.

Chart Thai was represented by advisory board chief Sanan Kajornprasart, Matchima Thipataya by secretary general Anongwan Thepsuthin, Pracharaj by leader Sanoh Thienthong, Puea Paendin by leader Suwit Khunkitti and Ruam Jai Thai Chart Pattana leader Chetta Thanajaro.

Most of them emphasised that PPP that won most parliamentary votes should be eligible to form the government and they decided to join the government for the benefits of the country.

However Samak declined to say whether he would be the 25th prime minister, saying the decision who would be the premier would be decided in the Parliament.
