Krung Thai Bank yesterday reported a net profit of Bt6.11 billion for last year, down 55.7 per cent, due mainly to loan-loss provisioning of Bt19.5 billion, which was Bt3-billion higher than the 2006 level.

New Pata Thailand chair
Pata Thailand has appointed Luzi Matzig, group CEO of Asian Trails, as its new chairman. Vincent Tabuteau of East West Siam has been appointed to head a new environment committee at the Pacific Air Travel Association's local office.
The committee will be tasked with providing practical pro-environment procedures for member organisations to implement.
