TITV officially unplugged

TITV was officially unplugged slightly after midnight of January 14, marking the beginning of the transformation into a public TV.

Slightly before being pulled off the air, TITV anchors reported that they have filed charges against Public Relations Department director-general Pramote Ratthawinit for issuing the regulations that demanded the immediate transfer of TITV assets to Thai Public Broadcasting Service (TPBS).

They said the order resulted in immediate closure of the station, which could cause damage to the public TV station.

After unplug, the station went blank for a few minutes before the song dedicated to HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana appeared on the screen.

A number of pantip.com's Chalermthai chat room on Mondy night was flooded with topics on TITV.
