Maniche joins Italian champions Inter Milan

 Maniche, 30, was to undergo medical tests and sign a six-month contract after landing in Milan on Sunday night. His presentation was scheduled for Tuesday when he will began training with the Italian reigning champions, according to Gazzetta.

 Coach Roberto Mancini said the international "can be very useful for us since we lost (Argentinian defender Walter) Samuel and (French midfielder Olivier) Dacourt for the rest of the season.

 "It is important to have a player who can play all the games, including the Champions League," he said.
