The event, to mark the first anniversary of her death, was held with the support of villagers from her birth place at Pong Noi, Doi Luang district in Chiang Rai.
The Khru Juling Ponganmoon Art Museum was opened on January 8 to honour the brave teacher. Juling was 24 when she died on January 8 last year.
She had devoted her life to teaching in a school in Rangae district, Narathiwat province because few teachers wanted to work in the area, which was racked by violence.
She was killed at the school where she taught.
Juling spent two years drawing and painting at temples and schools in the South.
She published a book of sketches and dedicated it to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Pong Noi administrative head Sawas Pongkanmoon and Doi Luang Kindergarten director Chaiyan Luangkaew attended the ceremony with 50 villagers.
