Asia's legendary hotels celebrated


    The Periplus Publishing Group recently launched “Asia’s Legendary Hotels” at the Thompson Bar, Bangkok. The event was well attended by over 100 guests including ambassadors, key local journalists, designers, architects and leading local hoteliers. The event was graced by the American ambassador, His Excellency Ralph Boyce, and author William Warren.
    "Asia’s Legendary Hotels" features some of Asia’s most historically sigificant hotels, renowned for their rich histories and supbern levels of service and luxury. From Taj Mahal in India, to Raffles Hotel in Singapore to the Railway Hotel in Hua Hin, these grand dames capture the romance of travel of days gone by, when the journey itself was as much of an adventure as the destination.
    Their unique architecture and luxurious interiors are captured in over 370 stunning full-colour photographs and rare archival images showcase their rich histories.
