Surin further explained that a subscriber is entitled to obtain payment in case of old age or death at an average of oneandahalfmonth of his salary.
The subscriber must contribute to the fund for three to 10 years.
If his monthly salary was Bt10,000, he should obtain Bt15,000 if he died.
However, if he had contributed to the fund for more than 10 years, he would receive a sum equal to five months of his salary or Bt50,0000.
