Ronaldinho and Deco injured, Eto'o following Toure to Africa

Madrid (dpa) - Troubled Spanish giants Barcelona announced on Tuesday afternoon that Ronaldinho and Deco would miss Wednesday's cup match away to Sevilla with minor injuries.

Ronaldinho is still suffering from tendinitis in the left knee, and has again missed training.

He missed Saturday's 2-0 win away to Mallorca, in which Frank Rijkaard's team's won with a more direct style. It is not clear when the Brazilian playmaker will return.

Neither is it clear when Deco will be back in action. He is suffering from pain in the left calf.

Barca are already without injury victims Lionel Messi, Santi Ezquerro, Sylvinho and Oleguer Presas.

In addition, midfielder Yaya Toure has already left to play for the Ivory Coast in the forthcoming African Nations Cup tournament.

Striker Samuel Eto'o is in the squad for the Sevilla match, though Cameroon are asking for him to be released immediately so he can join their squad preparing for the African tournament.
