If Yongyuth cannot testify next Tuesday, the commission will have to make a decision without his input.

Yongyuth is currently in Hong Kong with ex-PM Thaksin Shinawatra. His summons was dated December 26. His lawyer sought a postponement.

Yongyuth is allegedly involved in buying votes in Chiang Rai, where his younger sister La-ong contested a seat. His involvement could have repercussions for the party, as a result of his executive position. It could be dissolved if a guilty decision is made.
