"The princess has no muscular twitching," a statement said.

It said she had been treated for muscular twitching and was being fed intravenously.

The 84-year-old princess has been treated at Siriraj Hospital for several months.

As her condition stabilised yesterday her younger brother, His Majesty the King, returned to Chitralada Palace about 4pm. He had been by her side since December 25.

His Majesty waved and greeted crowds of people, who chanted: "Long Live the King!" as he departed.

Earlier in the day Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayalaksana visited the princess.
