Visits to Thailand drop 20%
Outbound tours attracted almost 600,000 citizens from the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding provinces last year, or 12 per cent more than the previous year, the Vietnam News Agency reported recently.

Their favourite destinations were Singapore with an increase of 22 per cent and Malaysia (26 per cent). Thailand was still a big venue of Vietnamese tourists but suffered a sharp decrease of 20 per cent.
