Located at Central Airport Chiang Mai shopping mall, Romrawin's northern branch maintains the standards set by its predecessors, and offers the same state-of-the-art laser technology and skin and body treatments that are available in Bangkok.

"We've been expanding quickly during the past three years to keep up with the fast-growing demand of our patients. Now people living in Chiang Mai don't need to travel to a Romrawin clinic in Bangkok," says Dr Thanisorn.

At the grand opening, Thanisorn gave a talk on Thermage technology, which, she explained, differs from facelifts in that it's not invasive, yet still tightens deep layers of the skin. One pleased beneficiary of the anti-ageing technology is makeup artist and model Oranapa Krisadee, who joined the talk to share her experience.

Romrawin was among the first skin clinics to feature Thermage technology in Thailand, as director Thanisorn is qualified in dermatological laser surgery. The clinic has also received the Leadership in Thermage Utilisation 2006 award from the US-based Thermage Inc, the provider of the technology.
