Exit polls show PPP is leading
People Power Party seemed to have a smile for now after the election closed as exit polls conducted by two universities showed that the party has a leading votes.
Suan Dusit Rajabhat University's exit poll showed that PPP got a total of 256 MPs, comprising 221 constituenency MPs and 35 party list MPs.
Democrat Party of Abhisit Vejjajiva's tally was 162, which combined of 127 constituency MPs and 35 partylist MPs.
Exit Poll of Abac University also saw PPP leading with 202 MPs while Democrat 146 MPs.
Ramkamhaeng University also echoed the leading of PPP with 221.
