Chambers of commerce nationwide want an honest prime miniester

All chambers of commerce aspire to see the next prime minister as an honest leader and urge voters to cast ballots for the party with a track record of honesty to advance the country forward, a leading businessman and board member of the Thai Chamber of Commerce said on Friday.

"The people should give the mandate to the honest party so that the country can move on and its economy revitalised," Boonchai Chokwattana said.

Boonchai spoke in welcoming Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva to lead a campaign rally in front of the head office of the Saha Pathanapibul Group.

The Democrats are campaigning on the platform of honesty.
