Bangkok to host summit
Thailand will host the 22nd executive committee meeting of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/Aids in April on the topic "Tuberculosis and HIV infection".

"Thailand was selected by UNAids' executive committee to be the host of the next high-level meeting because it succeeded in HIV prevention," Public Health Minister Mongkol Na Songkhla said yesterday.
Some 300 health experts and delegates from 25 countries will participate in the meeting and discuss ways to control the spread of TB and HIV infections particularly with high technology and human resource development.
