BECL extends period of giving discounts for motorists using expressways

It would maintain the current tolls at Udon Ratthaya expressway until October 31, 2008, while the current rates for Srirat and Chalerm Maha Nakhon expressways would be until August 31 next year.

At the Muang Thong Thani toll gate on the Udon Ratthaya, the current toll fee for four-wheel vehicles is Bt20, for six-to-ten-wheel vehicles is Bt40, and those with more than 10 wheels are charged at Bt60. The Srisaman toll gate charges Bt25, Bt50 and Bt75, the Bang Poon toll gate charges Bt30, Bt60 and Bt90, the Chiang Rak toll gate charges Bt35, Bt70, and Bt105 and the Bang Pa-in toll gate charges Bt40, Bt80 and Bt120 respectively according to the vehicle types.

The company also gives Bt10 discount for all kinds of vehicles passing the Rama 9-1 toll gate at the connection between the Srirat and Chalongrat expressways.

Motorists driving vehicles from the Chalongrat to Srirat expressways pay Bt15, Bt35 and Bt50 for four-wheel, 6-10-wheel and more than 10-wheel vehicles respectively. But travelling from the Srirat to Chalongrat, motorists pay Bt20, Bt40 and Bt60 according to the vehicle types.

Motorists passing At Narong 1 toll gate (to Bangna) at the connection between the Chalongrat and Chalerm Maha Nakhon expressways also get Bt10 discount, thus they have to pay Bt30, Bt50 and Bt75 for vehicles with four wheels, 6-10 wheels and more than 10 wheels respectively.
