Aday
Almost 50 pages of this month's special issue of A Day have been devoted to the HM the King's versatility including his accomplishments and interests in photography, music, sculpture, agriculture, education, sports. Throughout his 61-year reign, His Majesty has worked hard for the betterment of all Thais. One of his masterpieces is the artificial rain project, which has turned dry areas into fertile land.
There's also coverage of the thousands of ordinary Thais who have been wearing yellow shirts and lining the routes of different royal processions during the past few months, eager to get a glimpse of His Majesty.
Then there's a collection of old magazine covers featuring HM the King on special occasions, provided by photographer/artist Anuchai Sricharoonphuthong. The photographer has spent the past three years snapping images of the King that adorn the walls of people's houses around the country while also absorbing the down-to-earth lifestyle promoted by His Majesty.
You can also read about artist Sakwuth Wisetmanee, who has devoted many hours to his drawings and sculptures of the King.
Another article features the interview with His Majesty titled "Give More, Take Less" that was published in 1982 in "The King of Thailand in World Focus".
In other parts of the mag you'll find the usual coverage of fashion and contemporary trends.
