Compare that to a year ago, when the most popular calendars featured pop-music stars Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Take That and Westlife. Bizarrely, the only singer in the Top 10 for 2008 is Sir Cliff Richard.
For people who keep score, Liverpool leads the football squads in selling calendars, in second spot on the list, followed by Man U at No 3, Arsenal at No 6 and Chelsea at No 7.
The other places on the list belong to Homer and the rest of American TV's Simpsons clan (9), the UK television drama "Hollyoaks" (8), the professional "wrestlers" of WWE (5), venerable sci-fi series "Dr Who" (4) and - in the top spot - "High School Musical".
It's a Disney movie, apparently.
We know what you're thinking - Cliff Richard?
No, you're thinking, "What, no calendar babes?"
Not necessary! You see, The Sun keeps its male readers well supplied in that department year-round, so a calendar flagrantly flaunting bosoms would be superfluous. Probably.
