The sale of alcohol is banned between 6pm yesterday and midnight tomorrow due to balloting.

Election Commission member Prapun Naigowit yesterday warned political parties not to advertise near polling stations as it would break electoral law.

Prapun said advance voting was exclusively for those who could not return to home constituencies. Problems could be created if those who did not need to vote early did so, he said.
