No need for Sommai's replacement: PM
Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont will not appoint a new deputy prime minister to replace Sommai Phasee who has resigned, the prime minister said.
Surayud was speaking to reporters after meeting with Finance Minister Chalongphob Sussangkarn for about an hour.
He said Chalongphob informed him that there was no need to appoint Sommai's replacement because there was no backlog of works under Sommai's responsibility.
