Motor Expo experiences 2.9% rise in orders

A number of 17,605 orders were placed at Thailand International Motor Expo, which ended on Monday night.

The orders represent a 2.9 per cent increase from last year's event, reflecting more confidence from consumers, according to show organiser Kwanchai Paphatphong.

Of total, 5,074 units were sold by Toyota, which maintained the No.1 ranking despite the lack of new model. Trailing behind are Isuzu, Honda, Chevrolet, Mitsubishi, Proton, Nissan, Mazda, Ford and Hyundai. Totally, 34 brands were available at the 10-day event.
