Exports under JTEPA reach US$323 mn
Thai companies' export volume under the Japan-Thai Economic Partnership Cooperation topped US$323 million, in the first month after the agreement took into effect. A company also imported 860 tonnes of steel worth US$500,000.
Apiradee Tantraporn, director of the Foreign Trade Department, said that most of the exports involved processed shrimps, textiles and processed tapioca starch.
