The statement follows the detection by Chinese Customs officials of potassium bromate, a non-approved food additive in China and other countries, in one Pringles flavour, Grilled BBQ.
P&G said potassium bromate was not an ingredient in any Pringles product, and its suppliers had confirmed that the chemical was not used in the production of Pringles.
The company said it placed the highest priority on consumer safety and product quality and its shipped products that were in strict compliance with food safety regulations.
Bkk Cannes
Hong Kong firm Concord Properties is to launch a condominium project called Bangkok Cannes on Charan Sanitwong Road, Pinklao, from December 15 to 17.
The project, which will be worth up to Bt3.7 billion, will be located on a 15-rai plot that is part of 60 rai of land that will eventually be developed as an integrated project including the condominium and a plaza and shopping complex worth up to Bt40 billion.
Concord Properties (Thailand) general manager Michael Wong said Bangkok Cannes would be the first phase of the project and would offer condo units from Bt880,000.
Concord Properties is one of China's largest property development groups.
Otop City fair
The 5th Otop City fair will open at Impact Muang Thong Thani next Friday, running until December 21.
The fair will feature more than 3,200 booths: 1,100 for decorative and gift items, 900 for food products, 870 for clothes, 190 for herbal products, and 130 for drinks.
It is expected to attract between 800,000 and 1.2 million visitors, who will spend about Bt500 million.
THAI is green
Thai Airways International has received an ISO 14001 certificate for environmental awareness standards at its head office and operations centre at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
President Apinan Sumanaseni said the company began its environmental awareness efforts in 2000 at its head office, and with their regular renewal, the areas of concern were extended to include the operations centre.
The company remains ready to participate in finding solutions to global warming and promoting environmental awareness, he said.
Bkk-Cebu
Phillipine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific will begin thrice-weekly direct flights between Bangkok and the central Philippine city of Cebu from April 6.
The service will bring to six the airline's non-stop international services.
It currently offers direct services from Cebu to Hong Kong, Singapore, Incheon and Pusan and will begin a service to Taipei next week.
