Agri GDP to rise 4-5% next year
Thailand's gross domestic product of the agricultural sector is forecast to grow 4-5 per cent next year.
Apichart Chongsakul, secretary-general of the Agricultural Economics Office, attributed the continued growth to the persistently high demand particularly for rice.
This year, the sector's GDP growth is expected at 4.3 per cent.
