Ti Lor Su Waterfall on the Mae Klong River in Tak comes in at number four while Koh Phi Phi rates sixth.

Most of this year's awardees are national parks although the small town of Pai in Mae Hong Son also gets a look in, coming in at number 10.

The main feature covers Phu Soi Dao National Park in Uttaradit, a real treat in the cool season with its carpet of flowers and bird-filled trees. The article also offers tips on camping in the mountains plus the best hiking trails to the summit.

There's plenty more to see in Uttaradit too, and the writer takes readers around local markets and to Tha Pla district to explore the natural beauty around Sirikit Dam.

This issue also comes with a free guidebook covering several of the country's national parks, among them Khao Yai, Khao Luang, Phu Kradung and Similan.
