A survey on Samak: Head-butt or elbows next time?

In the glut of opinion polls on the upcoming election there are quite a few that fall short of what you might call "scientific". Reliability frequently takes a back seat to creativity, if not outright comedy.

Some surveys are aimed at Internet users only, and there's no restriction on how many votes you and your PC can cast. The academics must be tearing their hair out.

Allowing for the fact that the campaign is incredibly boring, we'll forgive the occasional foray into pure invention. Today we came across a poll on the website of the newspaper Manager that asks a single, simple question: "Do you think Samak Sundaravej will take on the reporters again?"

The pugilistic leader of the People Power Party will be delighted to see that 93 per cent of the respondents said yes, he'll come out swinging at least one more time before Election Day.

Samak himself has said the news media aren't his parents - meaning it's not as if he has to respect the media or anything - so he can wage war on them anytime he feels like it. Gentlemen, to your corners and wait for the bell.
