Viagra for votes
With penalties for vote-buying getting stiffer, some candidates have reportedly come up with a new tactic - handing out Viagra tablets instead of cash.

Sayan Nopkham, a canvasser for the People Power Party in Pathum Thani, said the drug used to treat male sexual dysfunction was being to given out to local community leaders for distribution to elderly voters.
He said he had kept two tablets as "evidence" to prove his claim.
"What is worrying is the possible side-effects of the drug. We can't be sure if it is properly manufactured," said Sayan, chief executive of a local tambon administrative council whose younger brother is a People Power candidate.
