SET closes a tad lower

Thai shares closed a tad lower on Wednesday due to the absence of fresh positive news.



The SET index started the day with a rise before weakening to end the market at 820.52, or a 0.30 per cent drop. Turnover was thin at Bt17.21 billion.

  Among most active, Banpu Plc (BANPU) rose 4.6 per cent at Bt412, PTT Plc (PTT) was up 0.6 per cent at Bt366, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) increased 0.6 per cent at Bt83, Kasikornbank (KBANK) surged 1.2 per cent at Bt83, Major Development Plc (MJD) jumped 6.8 per cent at Bt4.72.
