Thai pair go down fighting
Indonesia's Widianto Nova and Liliyana Natsir toppled Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thungthongkam of Thailand to capture the mixed-doubles crown at the China Open badminton Super Series in Guangzhou yesterday.

The Thai pair's hopes of ending their title drought went up in smoke with 15-21 21-18 21-11 loss to the world champions. The win helped the Indonesians avenge their defeat to the Thais at the Denmark Open last month.
