Leading the Thai pack was young Passakorn Suwannawat, who hammered Dutch veteran and former professional Stefan Mazrocis 6-0. The experienced Atthasit Mahitthi followed suit with a 6-1 victory over Andrew Pagett of Wales in the men's quarter-finals.
Passakorn, who has been in impressive form throughout the championships, will take on Mustafa Shehab of the United Arab Emirates.
Yesterday morning, Li Hang of China was dreaming of a place in the semi-finals and beyond, enjoying a massive 5-2 lead, but Shehab bounced back to snatch a 6-5 victory.
Atthasit will face former professional Bjorn Haneveer of Belgium, one of this event's most dangerous players, who defeated Welsh stalwart Anthony Davies 6-3.
It is anybody's guess how far Passakorn and Atthasit will progress, but Thailand have already been assured of a place in the masters final.
Karnchai Wongjan played brilliantly to rout compatriot Praprut Chaithanasakul 4-0 and Worawit Suriyasriwan beat John Terry of Wales 4-2 for a place in the semi-finals.
The other semi-final will be between pre-tournament favourite Darren Morgan and Geet Sethi of India.
The semi-finals will take place at 10 am, while the ladies final between Reanne Evans of England and Wendy Jans of Belgium will take place at 2 pm and will be televised live by TrueVisions Channel 62.
