Chingchai: Stop vote
New Aspiration Party leader Chingchai Mongkoltham petitioned the Election Commission yesterday to postpone the December 23 election on the grounds that a hasty ballot might not resolve the political animosity and restore democracy.

"The rush to vote might trigger dictatorship as rival parties are still embroiled in hostility and are trying to defeat one another by money politics," he said.
