The heads of delegations to the 9th Congress of the International Association of Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions (IASAJ) being held in Bangkok were granted an audience at 4.30 with the King to pay their respects. The IASAJ Congress ends today.

Supreme Administrative Court president Ackaratorn Chularat led the group of judges in the audience with the King.

His Majesty earlier visited Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana at Siriraj Hospital. In his new dark-blue jacket, he was greeted warmly both entering and leaving the hospital compound by large crowds.

His Majesty was given a bottle of holy water blessed in a grand ceremony held recently at Wat Suthas Thepwararam.

Prakhong Imjaiharn, 55, a Prachuap Khiri Khan native, said she was delighted to see the King after arriving in Bangkok two days ago.

"I watch the television news about the King every day back at home, and today I've seen him with my own eyes," she said.

Prathueng Niyomthas, 75, who had received eye treatment, said she had stayed on at the hospital afterwards to pay her respects to the King. "It's a blessing to me to be able to see him with my own eyes," she said.
