Danai loses in Malaysia Open

Danai Udomchoke and Weerapat Doakmaiklee crashed out of the US$150,000 Malaysia Open at the LTAM National Tennis Centre in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

The tournament's No 8 Danai fell casualty to Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovsky 3-6 5-7 in the second round, while Weerapat, a wildcard entrant went down to Pakistan's Aisam Qureshi 6-7 (1/7) 2-6 in the first round.

Four Thais, including Sonchat Ratiwatana and Kittipong Wachira-manowong, have already made exits from the tournament, leaving Sanchai Ratiwatana as the last Thai hope in the draw.
