Stopping flights

About 50 residents whose houses are near Suvarnabhumi Airport yesterday filed a complaint with the Administrative Court against Airports of Thailand's lax environmental controls.

Published on November 22, 2007

The residents, represented by Samnuan Praphin, an environment director of the Law Society of Thailand, asked for a court injunction to suspend all flights from 10pm to 5am. The suspension should remain until AOT and the residents mutually solve their conflict on noise pollution.
