The MB-70 provides 70 watts of power for notebooks and USB chargeable devices. With its innovative breakthrough of a detachable auto/air module, this DC adapter provides users with maximum mobility for charging both laptops and gadgets at home, in the office, in a car or on an aeroplane. The auto/air module is only half the size of a typical name card and is less than two centimetres thick.
President Henry Shieh said the company planned to commercially launch the product under a new brand name early next year. "With its impressive features, we are confident that the MB-70 will be rapidly and widely accepted by users around the world," he said.

New Malaysian APIM plant in Thailand
Malaysian company Sanichi Technology Bhd is gearing up to capture a bigger share of the advanced plastic injection moulds (APIM) global market by setting up its first overseas manufacturing plant in Thailand.
Group executive director Collin Gwee said the company was strengthening its position in the region by setting up its plant in Thailand.
He said the RM5-million (Bt46.4-million) plant, set up early this year, would cater for the huge demand for APIM from automotive makers in Thailand in view of the Kingdom's position as the region's leading automotive hub.
"After Thailand, we plan to set up a similar manufacturing plant in Vietnam, probably next year or in 2009," said Gwee.
He said its wholly owned subsidiary, Sanichi Mould (Thailand), had secured orders from two Japanese carmakers in Thailand.
He added that the company's target in Thailand was to serve between five and seven automotive makers based there in the next two to three years.
Group chairman and managing director Datuk Dr Pang Chow Huat said Sanichi was in a good position in view of its status as the only APIM fabricator in Malaysia.
