Nattakarn said he had to rely on his father's support base for the chance to become a member of the House of Representatives.
Familiar with politics since he was young, Nattakarn became deputy president of Lamphun Provincial Administration Organisation (PAO) two years ago. However, he's a newcomer to national elections. "I admit that the party decided to field me in the election due to my father. But I have had experience in elections since I was young, helping my father to campaign. It has paid dividends for me," he said.
Nattakarn said his work as deputy president of Lamphun PAO had been well received by local people and proved he could solve problems in the province.
He said he would run for the Democrat Party because of its
strong political ideology and honest image.
"My father's image might help me, but if I don't offer hope to
people, they may not choose me," he said.
Despite being a newcomer, he was determined to work hard
for Lamphun.
