The commission has signed an agreement with PTT Retail Business, MBC Land and the Retail Business Alliance.
The move is to expand vocational students' skills by providing first-hand experience and encouragement to be constructive.
Students will be shown the ropes at PTT and Jet service stations, Amazon coffee shops and Jiffy and 7-Eleven convenience stores.
Students will be taught about product display,
management, counter and petrol services and work with inventory and food-service managers.
They will receive certificates at the end of their stints, with the most highly qualified among them offered full-time jobs at the company.
The commission hopes the programme will be expanded later to give students work experience at the company's petrochemical plants.
