According to Suwit's book, Suwit is a wonderful fellow.
Writing a book is always a good way to communicate your opinions to the masses, especially if they're very high opinions of yourself. It can get embarrassing when you keep blowing your own horn in public, and the printed page has a discretion to it that's missing when you're verbally bragging.
The memoir is a litany of achievement and a chronicle of the praise that Suwit has garnered from many, many respectable figures, plus a few well-dropped names like Bill Gates.
With accomplishments bubbling out of every orifice, though, you're bound to forget something. He quietly asked a Nation reporter to let the editors know that he can speak English too, "because people don't always believe I can".
Then he got all humble with her.
"But I'm not sure if my American is better than Khun Abhisit's English," he said, referring to the Democrat premiership wannabe.
CNN and BBC, take note: Suwit would be perfect for an interview.
