Thais 10th

Thailand finished 10th in the Women's Volleyball World Cup after dropping their last game to former European champions Poland at the Park Arena Komaki in Nagoya, Japan.

The Thai women, who failed to recapture the form earning them the previous two victories, fell to the towering Poles 25-15 25-17 25-22. The Thais concluded their debut with two wins and nine losses.

Italy were crowned winners with an unbeaten record, while the US and Cuba finished second and third, respectively. The top three teams qualify for the Beijing Olympics.
