Hospital worker killed, another wounded in Southern shootings

Gunmen shot dead one hospital worker and wounded another yesterday as they were heading for work at Yala Hospital, police said.

Nimitchai Inchin, 43, suffered a gunshot wound in his shoulder blade. He died on his way to the hospital.

Rungruedee Morlek, 33, went into a coma.

Police said Nimitchai was also a member of the village defence volunteer force in tambon Lamphaya in Muang Yala district.
