Gov says economic stagnation caused by political uncertainty

Government spokesman Chaiya Yimwilai on Friday dismissed an allegation by the People Power Party that the failure of the interim government has caused the stagnation of the national economy.

He said the stagnation was caused by a concern among investors about the new government, which they were unsure which party would lead and who would become the prime minister and chief of the government's economic team.
