Danai, who helped Thailand reach the Asian Hopman Cup final last week, has won five consecutive matches, including the first-round tie against German Sebastian Rieschik on Tuesday.

He will play the winner of the match between fourth-seeded Rik de Voest of South Africa and Farrukh Dustov of Uzbekistan in the quarter-final.
