Special positions for reinstated MOF officials
The Civil Service Commission will consider on November 20 whether to approve three new positions for three high-ranking officials of the Finance Ministry who will be reinstated on the Central Administrative Court's order.
Preecha Watcharapai, secretary-general of the agency, said on Monday that three special C9 positions could be created for the three officials, whose promotions in 2001 were deemed unlawful.
The decision must be reached before November 28, or within 30 days as ordered by the court.
He said the position of "C9-ranked policy and planning officials" would be created specifically for the three officials. The positions would be dissolved when the three reach retirement age.
The commission is waiting for the official request from the Finance Ministry for the reinstatement, Preecha said.
