PPP will take first place: Poll

Suan Dusit Poll of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University released Sunday said 38.74 per cent of respondents in provinces and 30.77 per cent of respondents in Bangkok said they preferred People Power. 46.15 per cent of respondents in Bangkok and 28.29 per cent of respondents in provinces said they preferred Democrat.



Overall, 38.58 per cent of respondents said they preferred People Power while 32.29 per cent said they preferred Democrat, the poll said.

They survey was conducted during November 110 with 4,410 respondents nationwide. About 27 per cent of them were in Bangkok.

Chart Thai Party received 10.27 per cent votes from respondents, it got 8.28 per cent votes of Bangkok respondents and 11.12 per cent votes of respondents in provinces, the poll said.

Matchima Thipataya received 9.39 per cent votes from respondents overall. It got 6.59 per cent votes of Bangkok respondents and 11.54 votes of respondents in provinces, according to the survey.

Puea Pandin received five per cent votes from respondents overall. It got 4.40 per cent votes of Bangkok residents and 5.49 per cent of respondents in provinces, the survey said.

The Suan Dusit Poll also said 56.78 per cent of respondents in Bangkok considered to vote for a candidate from both the party and the candidate. About 14 per cent of Bangkok respondents said they considered to vote from only the candidate, 28.92 per cent said they only considered the party.

On the other hand, 41.15 per cent of respondents in provinces said they considered to vote from only the candidate while 38.83 per cent said they considered both party and the candidate, 20 per cent of respondents in provinces said they consider the party only.
