Party-list candidates registered

A festive atmosphere prevailed at ThaiJapanese Youth Sports Stadium as leaders of key parties picked numbers for their candidates in the proportional contest.

Political parties have until Sunday to register candidates who will contest the 80 party list seats in Parliament, which are voted for according to regional zones.

Registration opens on Monday for candidates for 400 constituency seats.
